Bedfordshire is one of the smallest counties in England coming it at only about 123,000 hectares. The county list currently stands at 289 species following the addition of Laughing Gull and Whiskered Tern in 2001, the splitting of Hooded Crow from Carrion Crow in 2002 and the addition of Great Reed Warbler in 2005. For an upto date copy of the list take a look on the Bedfordshire bird club web site.
Below you will find birders County lists. These are mainly from my memory and the help of Richard Bashford. If there are descrepencies then please contact me and let me know your true figures. It will take a while to get things right but with a little help from Beds birders I should be able to maintain an upto date record of everyones lists. If you would like your name removed for any reason please contact me likewise if you would like yours adding.
